Air quality sensor: signal other than filtering

The air quality sensor feeds information to the climate control in the appropriate equipment. HELLA regards it as an electronic component separate from the cabin filter element. [1]

The sensor is not a filter and does not hold particles alone. Similarly, the presence of a filter does not mean that the system measures any pollution. For a description of the equipment, check which dimensions and functions are specified for the particular model. The common name "automatic air conditioner" does not prove the presence of all possible sensors.
