asyncio organizes cooperative work with async and await. While a task awaits a suitable asynchronous operation, the event loop can run another ready task. [1]

An ordinary blocking call does not become nonblocking merely because it appears inside an async function. Respect library boundaries, apply timeouts and release resources. Concurrent web requests need limits rather than growing unchecked with input size.
