Brasília: buildings within an overall city design

Useful to know

Brasília is a planned capital associated with Lúcio Costa’s urban design and Oscar Niemeyer’s architecture. Residential and administrative areas participate in an overall composition. [1]

Compare the city plan with a particular public building. This separates the scale of movement from that of a facade. One famous silhouette cannot by itself explain district placement or the relationships between functions.
