ZF's Trailer Lift Axle Control raises or lowers a suitable axle according to load. Its purposes include managing wear and rolling resistance while respecting permitted axle loading. [1]

A raised axle does not necessarily indicate a fault. Interpretation requires configuration and load; its visible position alone also does not establish compliance with every axle limit.
