In brief
The Renaissance type includes more than a representative main building.
Useful to know
Litomyšl Palace is an example of a Renaissance arcade type developed by Italian models in Central Europe in the 16th century. UNESCO also notes later Baroque elements and preserved service structures. [1]
The arcade can be read simultaneously as a repeating facade form and as an organization of the movement. Compare a view of the courtyard with a general plan. Then check which structures support the residence. The palace is a system of representative and everyday functions; if you look only at the decorated facade, some of the spatial logic remains invisible.
