Math.round(): how the halves behave

Math.round() returns the nearest integer. At half round to the positive direction : Math.round(1.5) is 2, and Math.round(-1.5) is -1. This is not the symmetrical rule "always away from zero ". [1]

When rounding up measurements with negative values, check if this is the desired convention. Do not replace accounting rounding rules with this default method. In the examples, mathematically simple inputs are considered; complex decimal calculations also have the limitations of the binary representation of Number.
