In brief
The text with digits does not pass the check as a number.
Useful to know
Number.isFinite() returns true only for a value of type Number, that is not NaN or infinity. Number.isFinite(12) is true, and Number.isFinite("12") is false. [1]
This is a useful check after calculation or controlled conversion. It does not confirm allowable range : -100 is also a finite number, even if it is an invalid quantity in a store. Check the boundaries, wholeness and business conditions separately. The difference to global isFinite is essential when you don't want the input to be converted automatically first.
