Example: textarea { resize: vertical; min-height: 8rem; max-height: 30rem; }. Boundaries define usable range. Banning with none can make it difficult to edit long text in a small field. With a simple block, check the requirements for overflow and support in the target browsers; the property does not make any element an automatically convenient editor.
